Privacy policy
Effective October 28, 2026
This policy explains what LA Tile Guys collects when you use latileguys.com, what we do with it and the choices you have.
What we collect
- What you send us in the estimate form: your project type, ZIP code, finish level, a photo of your shower if you add one, your email, your name and, if you give it, your mobile number.
- What you send when you book a call: your name, email, phone number and the time you pick.
- What your browser sends automatically: the pages you visit, the ad or site that brought you here (ad click IDs and campaign tags), a random visitor ID stored in your browser, and the technical details every website receives, like your IP address and device type.
How we use it
- To prepare your estimate and send it to you by email.
- To follow up about your project, by email or by phone if you gave us a number, and to schedule a call or site visit.
- To see which ads and pages bring in requests, so we know where to spend our ad budget.
How your photo is processed
If you add a photo, we send it to AI services to estimate the size and condition of your shower and to create a preview of it with new tile. We use Anthropic's Claude to read the photo and Google's Gemini to make the preview. Your photo is only used for your estimate. The preview is an illustration, not a design commitment.
Analytics and ads
This site uses the Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel. They place cookies or similar tools that tell Google and Meta when someone visits after clicking an ad and when they request an estimate. When you submit the form, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and phone number is sent to Google and Meta so they can match the request to an ad click. Our site runs on Cloudflare, which processes visit data to deliver the site and protect it.
Who else handles your information
We use a few service providers to run this site: Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (sending email), Google (our records and ad measurement), Meta (ad measurement) and Anthropic and Google (photo processing). They handle your information only to provide those services to us.
We don't sell your information
We don't sell your personal information. Under California law, letting Google and Meta measure our ads with their tags can count as "sharing" for advertising. You can ask us to stop doing that for you (see below).
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as we need it to follow up on your project and for our business records. We delete it sooner if you ask, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your California privacy rights
If you live in California, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, give you a copy of it, correct it, delete it, or stop sharing it for advertising. We won't treat you differently for asking.
To make a request, email us at [email protected], or reply to any email we've sent you. We'll confirm we received it within 10 days and answer within 45 days. We may ask you to confirm your email address so we know the request comes from you.
Children
This site is for homeowners. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date.
